Copenhagen AW26
Grounding the season in sustainability and reality, where clothing exists in the rhythm of daily life.
OpéraSPORT

Designed by Awa Malina Stelter and Stephanie Gundelach, OpéraSport approaches the season with a clear point of view. Sustainability isn’t positioned as a statement but embedded in the way the clothes are made and worn.
The collection moves through a distinctly Scandinavian sensibility. Familiar pieces, subtly reworked. Dresses worn over tailored trousers, waists drawn in with scarves and belts, jackets carried rather than worn, knits layered over blazers. The effect doesn’t come from the garments themselves, but from how they are put together. Styling becomes the point of view.
Fabrication adds depth. Sheer layers, lace, and lighter materials sit against leather, tailoring, and structured outerwear. The contrast feels natural, more like real dressing than constructed looks.
Casting sharpens it. A broader range of bodies gives the clothes context, placing them firmly in the present.
This is where OpéraSport lands. Not idealised, not exaggerated. Just a clear reflection of how fashion is worn now, and where it’s heading next.
